Senior RF Engineer

I am always looking for experienced engineers and currently am aiming for anyone with solid RF Engineering experience to help design and develop RF (radio frequency) antennas, filters, amplifiers for critical navigation and surveillance technology utilised in global ATM (Air Traffic Management) services.
Permanent full-time role with career growth, project development and a cross-functional inviting team.
Must have full-working rights in Australia and be willing to work on-site full-time.

Role Overview
The RF Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of radio frequency systems and
components. This role involves working with systems across multiple frequency bands from VHF to K band. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF design and practical experience with RF
testing and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RF circuits and systems including antennas, filters, amplifiers, and
  transceivers.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide leadership and advise on the relative merits of varying technical
  approaches to RF and electrical problems.
• Conduct RF simulations using tools such as ADS or similar.
• Perform RF testing and validation using spectrum analysers, vector network analysers, and signal
  generators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in the
  design and operation of radio systems.
• Document designs, test results, and technical reports.

Experience/Knowledge Required

• A strong background in radio system design and test
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good emotional maturity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with others and present your work.
• Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate discipline, or very strong demonstrated performance
• Must have full working rights in Australia
